Ava Acevedo

Ava Acevedo (she/her) is an 18-year-old organizer dedicated to building collective student power to demand effective, wide-scale climate solutions. Since joining the Green Schools Campaign in July 2020, she has loved being a part of the team. She founded and continues to mentor leaders for the Lodi Unified GSC in her hometown. As an undergraduate at Stanford, she is involved in Fossil Free Stanford and the Coalition for a True School of Sustainability, both dedicated to disentangling the university from fossil fuel money. In her free time, Ava enjoys playing guitar and singing with Mariachi Cardenal and spending time with her friends and family.
