Long Beach Unified School District

On August 17, 2022 the Long Beach Board of Education passed Board Policy 3510.1 to commit LBUSD to 100% clean energy. This policy was written by student leaders from the campaign, utilizing the original resolution that they proposed in 2020 (read more here!)

Marlborough School 
Los Angeles, California

In 2019, Marlborough School student Gaby Cohen, partnered with Climate Reality LA, successfully convinced Marlborough School to commit to transitioning to 100% clean, renewable electricity by 2030.

Completed Campaigns 

Los Angeles Unified School District 
Los Angeles, California

On December 3, 2019, with unanimous support from school board members and a broad coalition of LAUSD students, parents, teachers and administrators, LAUSD (second largest school district in America) committed to transitioning to 100% clean renewable energy by 2035.

Los Angeles Community College District 
Los Angeles, California

In July 2020, the LACCD Board of Trustees voted to commit to transition to 100% clean renewable electricity by 2030. LACCD is the largest community college district in America. 

Palisades Charter High School 
Los Angeles, California

Through school and community events, town halls, and a petition that collected 1.7K signatures, Palisades Charter High School, one of the 17 schools that make up the Human Rights Watch Student Task Force, successfully persuaded their school to transition to 100% clean, renewable energy by 2025.strict in America.
